I recently stayed at Hotel Niki in Sofia, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of my trip, thanks to the incredible people who work there. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and a level of attentiveness that went above and beyond my expectations. The staff truly make this hotel special, always ready to help and eager to ensure that every guest has a wonderful experience. Every morning at breakfast, I was greeted with genuine friendliness and useful tips for exploring Sofia. It wasn’t just excellent service—it was a human touch that made my stay unique. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to all the main attractions, and the rooms are comfortable and well-maintained. However, what sets Hotel Niki apart is the warmth of the people who work there. They transform an ordinary stay into an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not just a great hotel, but also an authentic taste of Bulgarian hospitality. I can’t wait to return!

Good, basic 1 bed suite with comfortable bed and the minimum facilities we needed. It was nothing fancy but was very quiet, clean, comfortable and cool, so exceeded all our needs. It was nice to have a little more room to spread out and relax in, after several weeks of pretty tiny hotel rooms. Staff were very helpful, the included breakfast gave us fuel for long days of sightseeing, and the location was good, a short walk to most of the places we wanted to go. The area was interesting, with a lot of restaurants, bars, shops and interesting buildings and parks. It felt safe and we had no issues or problems. The hotel organised airport transfers and all was smooth and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Our room and ensuite bathroom were compact but very well equipped and very comfortable, and the lounge area was big and also comfortable. The provision of a kettle, fridge and microwave were very much appreciated, and we were able to borrow plates and cutlery from the hotel. It was just a short three block walk to the Vitosha pedestrian only area and all the shops, restaurants and parks nearby. The staff were extremely helpful and the aircon worked very well. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Although the hotel is right in the middle of the city it was amazingly quiet and we did not even hear any noises from outside, so we slept extremely well. A Metro station was a short walk away.

The staff is professional and friendly, always ready to answer questions or help you with whatever you may need. The rooms are clean and the bathroom looks new (in contrast to many other older hotels in Sofia). I like that the hotel offers breakfast, and the spread includes Bulgarian items, as well as popular breakfast options for visitors. The location is perfect - a few minutes walk from Vitoshka, the main pedestrian street lined with tons of restaurants and stores, and other popular locations like the National Palace of Culture.

Continental breakfast. The buns were very good. Our room was a great studio apartment, very spacious. The heaters were on and we didn't feel cold despite the snow that fell during the night. The towels were spotlessly clean. I think it's great that the bathroom has a bathtub. We liked our room very much. The location of the hotel was also very good. 100 meters from Vitosha Boulevard. 10 minutes from the NDK metro station and 20 minutes from the Serdika station on the other side, which is the center of the city. I can easily recommend it to those who want to stay.
